Wood pellets are produced by compressing wood sawdust, which is generated as a production material at sawmills and other timber processing places. Wood mass is pressed through a die with openings, forming granules, most often with a diameter of 6-8 mm (depending on the size of the holes,). According to the EU standards, the pellets intended for the retail market in Europe should not contain more than 10% of water, they are compacted, and have low ash content and CO2 emissions. Unlike coal, they are clean, and do not cause fouling. The pellets are a high calorific value fuel to be burned in, furnaces, boilers, fireplaces, and other heating devices.
Diameter: 6-8 mm
Length: 3,15 – 40 mm
Minimum density: 1,15 kg/dm3
Energy output: +/- 5,3 KWh/kg

1 t. of briquettes replaces 4 to 5 cubic meters of dry wood,
high density, and thus easy to store and distribute,
possible to use in boiler rooms with fuel automatic feeding,
high calorific value, which is comparable with low quality hard coal,
does not contain substances harmful to human health and the environment,
low emission of sulfur dioxide and other harmful substances during combustion
Calorific value: min. 1700 kJ/kg
Humidity: max. 10%
Ash: 0,7%
